The position that punishes a lazy pick

Shooting carries 30% of a shooting guard's overall, the single heaviest weight in the game. That makes the position easy to read: sort by the shooting column and you have your board.

The trap is drafting for the overall alone. The pool is the largest in the game, so an 80-rated guard is genuinely ordinary. 85 or better is where the position stops being replaceable.

Where the value is

The best shooting guards in Pokéjam are not pure shooters; they are the ones who also clear 85 in handles or finishing, which is what lets them create a shot when the defence closes out. Anyone under 80 shooting at this position is a bench body.
